Our Mission:

Foster spiritual development and Christ like growth in the family by demonstrating God’s love to encourage discipleship in your daily walk.

What We Believe:

  • We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

  • We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, and His bodily resurrection.

  • We believe all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God, and are in need of salvation.

  • We believe salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ has been provided for all men.

  • We believe healing is provided in the redemptive work of Christ, and is available to every believer.

  • We believe that the Spirit-filled life makes available the gift of speaking in tongues to believers individually as a resource for prayer, praise, and worship.

  • We believe in water baptism, and observance of the Lord’s Supper.

  • We believe the Old and New Testaments are God’s infallible and divinely inspired words.

  • We believe the Church consists of all those who have received Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.

  • We believe in the personal, visible, imminent return of our Lord Jesus Christ and the bodily resurrection of both the just and unjust.

Purpose: 

To help people find God’s purpose for their lives through practical teaching. 


High Point Church is,

  • A place of WORSHIP.  We believe in, lift up and magnify the name of the Lord.  Jesus is the cornerstone, the foundation and the reason for our ministry.

  • A part of the COMMUNITY.  We invite Jesus wherever we are and take Him wherever we go.  Our church is not limited to a physical location.  We bring Jesus to you.

  • A place of OUTREACH.  Jesus commands us to GO and SPREAD His word to the nations.  The first step is right here locally.  Wherever the second step takes us, we know that He is always by our side.

 

High Point Church will,

  • Encourage SPIRITUAL GROWTH for our members, visitors and friends.  The Bible is a gift for those that believe and receive His word.  We use the Word of God to learn, to teach and to edify.

  • Use the power of RELATIONSHIPS and make DISCIPLES according to the Word of God. Jesus developed relationships with his disciples to spread His powerful word.  We will do the same.
